The emphasis is on carousing and comraderie, rather than on competition. We improvise and have fun-- you can make a waltz sweet and romantic, or bouncy and silly. It is easy to pick up the basics and get going, yet there is some very challenging material out there for those with dance skills, so it suits a variety of levels. We will cover several patterns for Waltz (some will be different than last quarter) and will also dabble in Polka or other dances as time allows. No dance experience is necessary to join the class, and the class will include practice time and individual attention, so everyone who comes will become a better dancer and have a great time.

To Register, please call the Experimental College at 530-752-2568, or come by 260 South Silo, where their regular office hours are noon to 4 pm, Monday through Friday.
For the beginning of each session the office hours extend to be 10 am - 6pm.
Directions: From highway 80, take 113 north toward Woodland, and take the first exit, Hutchinson Drive. Follow Hutchinson to the Silo, and park in the metered lots 29 or 43.
